The Southampton Community Band is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which means everyone who is involved with us are volunteers.
We have many volunteer opportunities, especially on concert night. As you can imagine there are many parts moving at once and interlocking an hour before the musicians even arrive for the concert. We have a membership table, concession table, beverage table, 50/50 donations, and the most important subscription and ticket purchases.
This year we are in need of two leadership volunteers: a House Manager and a Beverage Manager.
Our House Manager organizes the flow of foot traffic in the lobby of Klinger Middle School before the concert and during intermission. S/he works with all positions to help them set up and prepare the ambiance of the evening.
Our Beverage Manager is responsible for setting up and preparing the beverage station before each concert so when audience members arrive they can buy a beverage before the concert or during intermission.
