Who We Are
The Southampton Community Band is different from other musical organizations. Our band comprises all instruments you find in an orchestra EXCEPT a string section. Our playing membership consists of reeds, brass, woodwinds, and percussion, with an occasional harp or upright string bass. Our repertoire includes Classical, Big Band, Jazz, Broadway and Folk compilations, and new band literature.

Instant Classics
November 22, 2025
The first concert of this season features enduring music of all genres which have become endearing classics we all love to hear on loop. We will also perform many of our holiday classics.
Tropical Getaway
January 17, 2026
The January concert brings tropical vibes in the pop, movie, and familiar band literature worlds. Imagine your feet in the white sand as a warm breeze hugs your face while steel drums play in the distance.
Good vs. Evil
March 28, 2026
As Spring leads us away from winter, we focus on how both good and evil have been portrayed in a variety of music that is sure to entertain and take us to other worlds. Make sure your passport is up-to-date.
